A personal 'Thank You' from my heart...
I have always been involved in Animal Welfare issues since my early years, but my work, and life's dreams to effectively campaign against all forms of animal cruelty, really took off in 2010. I wish to personally thank all those who have supported me along the way..without your support and help, I can do nothing, and I will never be able to convey my gratitude in simple words...

Meeting Charles Wartenberg (Founder of IWCT and AKF) in the Far East in October 2010, changed my life in many ways, as I listened to his tales of animal rescue, and his current work, saving companion animals from the meat trade in Asia.
Charles has been such an inspirational person, and meeting him was a pivotol moment, which gave me the courage and foresight, to do what I now do..Thank you Charles...
I must also thank two very special people...Gavin & Andrea Gamby-Bouger, Founders of 'Wetnose Animal Aid'. Being invited to their annual 'Wetnose Awards' made me realise that there are so many wonderful people, all striving towards the same goals and ideals that we all share, and since that first meeting, I now consider them as dear friends, who have helped me campaign against the treatment of stray animals in Bulgaria, Romania, and beyond. I look forwards to working with them on future campaigns. Their compassion for all animals is infectious, and it is an honour to work with them both.
Thank you Gavin and Andrea...
I must also mention those people, who have supported my work since 2010, and who have always been there, to assist me in my efforts, and who have donated, shared, and highlighted my work..

Penny and Tony O'Callaghan from Hampshire UK, who have helped in so many ways. Joanne (staunch vegan and beautiful soul) and Abe Anand from Australia, Alex Cearns-Professional Photographer from Houndstooth Studio in Australia, Art Villanueva from San Diego, Pete Goddard from Grimsby UK, Mitchell Gerstein from Canada, and so many others, who have supported me via Facebook, Twitter, and other social media...There are so many of you who have always been there for me, and it is impossible to name you all...However, to each and every one of you, words alone will never be enough to convey my thanks to you all...

I must also thank the wonderful Jill Robinson-Founder of Animals Asia. She has been such a catalyst for change in China, and her work is an inspiration to all, showing us that hearts and minds CAN be succesfully changed, due to education, and compassionate thinking. I consider Jill a true hero, and although I have never met her in person (except to see her at the Wetnose awards), I consider her a friend already, and look forward to meeting her in person, hopefully as a future visitor to her wonderful bear sanctuary in China. Thank you Jill for everything you do for our animal friends...
I must also thank the many celebrities who have been involved in our campaigns to date, and to offer their voices in support of our animal friends. First and foremost, that wonderful advocate, Peter Egan. Peter is Ambassador for Animal's Asia, and Patron of many animal charities, offering much of his time to promote such causes. The passion he holds in his heart for all animals, is a breath of fresh air to those who strive to help animals in need, and even though Peter has many work comittments due to his acting roles on both stage and screen, he always finds the time to promote animal related events, and attends many such functions, to raise awareness, and promote those who engage in this work. Peter has travelled extensively, visiting his namesake 'Peter Bear', at Jill Robinsons sanctuary in Asia, and also visiting Pen Farthing-'Nowzad' in Afghanistan. Peter was due to travel with us to Bulgaria for the 'Justice for Borko' campaign in 2013, but was sadly unable to attend, due to stage work. He also supported the recent Romanian campaign, narrating the film documentary, and is a constant supporter of this vital work.
Thank you Peter and Myra...
Special thanks to Saffron-Republica singer, who has had many hit singles, such as 'Ready To Go, 'Drop dead gorgeous' to name a few...This wonderful lady, upon hearing about our Romanian campaign, expressed her desire to join us, to offer her support in highlighting the plight of Romanian stray animals. Saffron is such a wonderful animal lover, and she has helped raise the profile of the various charities within Romania, by becoming official Patron for 'Maoland Shelter'. Together with her lovely friend and fellow singer Samantha Fox, they continue to support our work in Romania and beyond. Samantha Fox herself has always been passionate about animals, and is patron of http://www.scratchingpost.co.uk/ and she regulary attends the annual 'Wetnose awards' to hand out awards to those who deserve it most. Samantha is passionate in her love for tigers, and she actively works, towards eradicating the cruelty inflicted upon these beautiful creatures.
Thank you Saffron and Samantha...
For many years I used to watch the lovely Lorraine Chase, appearing on various TV Programmes..As a child I was mesmerised by 'Worzel Gummidge' the scarecrow, and 'Dolly Clothes-peg' Lorraine..I never dreamed that years later, I would work with Lorraine.
I never realised just how passionate she is towards dogs, and she has since joined us in both Bulgaria and Romania during our campaigns. Lorraine became official patron for K9-Rescue, founded by Michelle Jones during the 'Borko' campaign, and she continues to support all manner of animal related charities and work.
Thank you so much Lorraine...

Also the lovely Wendy Turner-Webster, sister of Anthea Turner, has always been a supporter of many animal related causes. I remember watching religiously 'Pet Rescue' on UK Television, with Wendy being the presenter. Wendy is patron of The 'Vegan Society' and 'Chancepixies Animal Rescue', and also supports the charity 'Refuge'. During the 'Borko' campaign in Bulgaria, Wendy worked her socks off (bless her heart), as she interviewed those involved, and without her help, we could never have made such an emotive documentary, as she did such a wonderful job in presenting our campaign, that it was mesmerising to watch her in action..such professionalism, and such a wonderful heart for our animal friends. Wendy also presents the annual 'Wetnose Awards' on behalf of Andrea and Gavin.
Thank you so very much Wendy...
Thank you also to actress and radio presenter Fia Tarrant, daughter of Chris (Who wants to be a millionare presenter). Fia is a passionate dog lover, who always continues to support our work, and Mum Ingrid interviews all the celebrities during the annual 'Wetnose awards'. Massive thanks to you both...
I must also mention Kate Sissons (daughter of Peter-BBC News presenter). Kate has appeared in many TV shows such as Eastenders, Holby City, as well as film, and she is a wonderful supporter of my work. One day I hope that she is able to take up my offer, to join us on future campaigns. She is running the 2015 London Marathon for charity, and I wish her well. Thanks so much for your support Kate...
Thank you to Richie Kul, film actor and professional model, from Asia. Richie currently lives in Miami Beach-Florida. He is a wonderful voice for all animals, and actively supports the battle, to eradicate the trade in dogs and cats, primarily for their meat. Richie supported our Romanian campaign, and it was wonderful to receive his help..Thank you Richie (and your wonderful little dog Lily)...
Special thanks also to Amanda Holden, for her wonderful support during our Romanian campaign. Upon hearing of the atrocities inflicted upon the stray dogs, she was all too willing to help. Andrea and Gavin (Wetnose) popped into the studios to meet her, and Amanda very kindly did a short VT, in aid of Romanian dogs. Obviously Amanda is such a busy lady, and I truly am very grateful for all her help, in highlighting our cause. Thank you from my heart Amanda...
That dear man Paul O' Grady, presenter of 'The Paul O' Grady Show', 'For the love of dogs' etc, has also helped us by releasing a statement for use in our press release. Paul was horrified at the treatment of Romanian dogs, and it was wonderful to receive his vocal support..Thank you Paul...
The wonderful singer-songwriter Maria Daines, who kindly wrote the song 'SOS' for our 'Borko' film soundtrack.
Maria passionately works tirelessly against BSL laws. Thank you so very much Maria...
Huge thanks to the K-9 Angels...Victoria Eisermann and Pola Pospiszalska. Victoria has appeared on many TV shows, including a stint in 'Big Brother'..A former model, Victoria now runs her own Rescue Charity with Pola, and they have saved many dogs in Romania and beyond. Pola is an accomplished singer, and has produced many great songs, and many of her music videos feature rescue animals. It was an honour to work with them both, during the recent Romanian campaign. Thank you so much girls...

There are so many others, who have tweeted, shared, and highlighted the work I am involved in, that it would be impossible to name you all...Without people like you, it is difficult for a 'nobody' like me to be heard, to be a voice for animals, so I am forever grateful for your help and support.
A few who have helped include Deborah Meadon (Dragons Den Star), Sarah Jayne Honeywell (TV Presenter-Actress), Sue Perkins (Comedienne and Presenter), Belinda Carlisle (Singer), Cheryl Ferguson (TV actress), Jenny Seagrove (Actress and passionate animal advocate), Lesley Nicol (Downton Abbey actress and Moonbear Ambassador), Karen Chamberlain (TV and famous Bulldog lover), Wincey Willis (TV Presenter-Former Weather Presenter)...So many voices, and so all I can say is a huge 'Thank You' from the very depths of my heart. Simple words, but they really do come from my Heart and Soul....

'Thank you all so much'...Gary Edwards.
